We have access to so much – even too much information these day that it can feel overwhelming when we start to research things that interest us – particularly when using the internet. One of the
biggest problems we face is that much of it seems contradictory.

To the point that it can be hard to know which sources to trust and which to take with a pinch of salt.

Now many times that may not matter too much after all getting the length of the Nile or the height of Everest right to the nearest inch does not make any real difference to anyone.

But when it comes to things that affect our health – well that is a completely different matter.

I’m sure you know someone – a friend of a friend maybe – who starts off looking for something to relieve a mild headache and soon becomes convinced that all their symptoms match those of a brain eating microbe that can only be caught from the bite of a cave dwelling blind newt found only in darkest Peru…

As amusing as that sounds it’s not that far from the truth. It’s a fact that we are influenced by the information we have available to us and if common sense is not brought to bear, that can lead to all sorts of problems that are become only too real.

Part of the job of a publication like Low carb Mag is to help filter out the good from the dross yet at the same time expose you to things you may never have looked at before. And we do take that responsibility seriously – very seriously. Every day we sift through the latest findings from most of the major health authorities to find out what the latest studies on diet and health are telling us and – after applying common sense bring that to you either through the magazine or the website.

However, we do need your help. We have a small production team and we simply can not be everywhere which is why I’m asking you to help bring things to our attention.

So if you see something you think is interesting or newsworthy, please do drop us a quick line about it and of course give us a link to the info.

The easiest way to do that is using the contact form on the website… https://lowcarbmag.com/contact-us/

You never know… That small service of yours could lead us to a bit of information that someone reads in the mag or on the site that – in turn – may just transform their life for the better.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
