In today’s world of instant access and on-demand technology, competing against all of the modern gadgets and devices to squeeze in quality family time can feel like a struggle. The good news is, you can get your family into fitness with some simple ways to have fun.
Pace resident Ashley Donahoo knows all too well how challenging it can be to get fit and get your family involved. After losing 137 pounds, Ashley maintains her new fit figure by including her family.
“Now, instead of sitting in front of the TV or going to the movies as family activities, we play tag outside, go swimming, go on walks and bike rides (I run alongside them when they’re on their bikes) and race each other,” she says.
Making memories with your kids is a bonus of spending time getting fit together. Ashley knows her kids won’t remember the times spent mindlessly watching TV shows.
